About Chelsea

Chelsea was born in Toronto, Canada but spent most of her life in Washington state before moving to Phoenix, Arizona in 2020.  

She has been teaching yoga for twelve years along with directing and guest teaching in yoga teacher training programs.  Chelsea teaches a number of different styles of yoga and has taught in various settings such as studios, gyms, schools, health clinics, senior living centers, and corporate offices.  

She has done extensive training in numerous areas of yoga with world renowned teachers as well as practiced with various teachers in India, including the well known Parmarth Ashram in Rishikesh- the yoga capital of the world.

Chelsea’s favorite areas of yoga study include history, philosophy, and functional anatomy.  Having spent numerous hours in training and self-study in these areas, Chelsea strives to bring a modern perspective and an easily digestible approach to these topics when she shares this knowledge in her classes.  

Outside of yoga, Chelsea’s passions include travel, singing, and dog rescue.

Slow Flow

This Vinyasa style class will emphasize a slower, more deliberate pace that allows space to hold poses a little bit longer to focus on alignment, mindful movement, and breathwork.  Typical class structure will include a warm up, sun salutations, standing poses, and floor poses. .

Yin Yoga

A slow and calming practice with long-held poses to stretch deep connective tissues in the hips, spine, and shoulders. Includes restorative shapes and props to support relaxation, flexibility, and mindful stillness.

Hatha 26

This class follows the structure of the 26-posture Bikram series—without the heat—and includes accessible variations to support different bodies and abilities. With a focus on one pose at a time, it’s ideal for anyone seeking a slower pace or needing to avoid weight on the hands.
