This class is a gentle, breath-led vinyasa class held twice a month on Full and New Moon days. Perfect for all levels, it offers slow, mindful movement to honor your body’s natural rhythm.

Following Ashtanga tradition, we pause Mysore practice on these moon days and invite you to reset with this calming, restorative yoga class. 

Why We Don’t Practice Mysore on Moon Days

In traditional Ashtanga Yoga, it’s common to rest from vigorous practice during moon phases due to their energetic intensity:

Full Moon: energy is high, and we may feel emotionally or physically overstimulated.

New Moon: energy is lower, encouraging quiet reflection and inner stillness.

 

What is Moon Flow class?

Moon Flow is a gentle yoga class in Phoenix designed to help you slow down, breathe deeply, and move with intention. It is gentle, meditative, and accessible to all levels — including beginners.

 

What to expect:

  • Breath-led, fluid movement
  • Grounding postures and mindful transitions

  • 10:00 or 11:00 AM start time

  • Only available on Full Moon and New Moon days

  • A calm space to reset, recharge, and restore
